In 1969, Eon Productions brought to life another thrilling instalment in the James Bond series with “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.” Departing from the familiar face of Sean Connery, the role of Bond was taken up by George Lazenby, a model with no prior acting experience. Lazenby, however, made it clear that his portrayal of Bond would be a one-time affair.

The story revolves around Bond’s confrontation with the villainous Blofeld, played by Telly Savalas, who threatens to cripple the world’s food supply by manipulating a group of brainwashed agents known as the “angels of death.” Along the way, Bond finds love in the arms of Contessa Teresa di Vicenzo, portrayed by Diana Rigg, culminating in marriage.
