Stanislas Lami, born in 1858 in Paris and died in 1944, was a French sculptor and art historian. He is the grandson of landscape painter François-Xavier Bidault and the son of sculptor Alphonse Lami.
Some of his works are kept in museums, especially in Spain. In Paris, at the Musée d’Orsay, there is a marble sculpture of the Danish Dog (circa 1892). He is also the author of a Masque de Berlioz (1884) kept in the library of the Paris Opera. Stanislas Lami exhibited many times in Salons, including the 1897 Salon and the 1893 World’s Fair in Chicago.
