The Pippy Lego table for SoShiro by Interni Design Studio makes for a playful centrepiece for a dining room or library. Made in the UK, the sculptural wooden Lego-inspired figure base is carved from solid oak with a round table top made with a pippy oak veneer. The core of the tabletop is bespoke, taking into consideration the climate of the table’s destination.

Playfulness is expressed in the contrast between the pop plastic nature of Lego and the natural oak materials. Their knotted patterns are formed by cattle nibbling the roots of the oak trees, which is known as pippy or cat’s paw oak. The round table encourages social connection, intimacy, and conversation, and has a sculptural centre base that is ergonomically designed for comfortable seating.

The core material for the table-top can be adjusted to best suit the environmental conditions of the table’s destination. All materials are sustainability-led.
