In the early 1950’s Dual became the first turntable manufacturer in Europe. In the mid-1950s it produces the phonovalice. Siegfried Steidinger opened a second factory in Meßkirch in 1956. In 1958 a third in Mönchweiler. In the 60s Dual presents the 1009, the first HiFi model. OEM turntables were also produced for brands such as Grundig, SABA, WEGA, Rosita and others.
