This new, unused Villeroy & Boch “Burgenland” coffee service, model “Burgenland,” consists of a complete eight-serving place setting and embodies the finest German craftsmanship in a traditional country house style. Made in Germany and bearing the imprint “Villeroy & Boch – Mettlach – since 1748,” this service represents a long tradition of high-quality ceramics.

The decoration is based on the copperplate technique (German: Kupferstich unterglaze décor) – a classic design that is particularly striking due to its green and white, meticulously detailed landscape motif and floral patterns. The “Burgenland” series was produced from the 1950s onwards and is now a sought-after collector’s item.
