Pamono British Army Sword Handle Candlesticks from Benham & Froud VR, 1905, Set of 2> Candleholders

We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely pair of original 1905 British Army Sword handle brass and leather candlesticks by Benham & Froud Benham & Froud circa 1855-1924, Chandos St, London, describing themselves variously as general metal workers, art metal workers and lamp manufacturers. The famous ‘orb’ was adopted because the firm made the present cross on the dome of St Paul’s Cathedral in 1821 and it could be seen from the shop in London. These are an exceptional find, each sword hand guard is fret work cast with VR for Victorian Regina meaning the Regin of Queen Victorian.
