Aurelio Bossi (Monticelli Pavese, July 20, 1884 – Bergamo, October 21, 1948) studied at the Brera Academy and specialized in sculptures in various materials (wood, marble, bronze castings). His works are exhibited at the Pinacoteca di Brera, the Statue of Cardinal Borromeo at the Milan Cathedral, and two busts adorn the façade of the chapel of the Niguarda Hospital. He worked in Milan primarily between the two World Wars. He exhibited at the Venice Biennale from 1919 to 1939.
