Pamono Art Nouveau Italian Sterling Silver Dish, 1930s> Serving Dishes

A sterling silver dish for fruit or the centre of the table, made from sterling silver with 80 percent silver content assayed with the 800 mark. The other silver marks are a star and 122 RA suggesting his piece was made in Ravenna Italy . There is also “fatto a mano” inscribed on the plate showing the artisan hand crafted nature of the piece. The pattern of the dish suggests it was made before 1940. There is some irregularities in the shape and pattern but can be expected from a hand beaten piece of artisan silver and the age of the dish.
