Pamono Antique Victorian Oval Gilt Mirror, 1870> Mirrors

A Very Attractive Mid 19th Century Victorian Oval Giltwood Wall Mirror, Of Good Bold Proportions, Having Elegant Foliate Engraved Decoration And Bobble Beded Border To Cushion Frame, Enclosing Original Bevelled Mirror Plate. 

This mirror is a really good size, big enough to be noticed, but not so big that it is totally dominant, which in combination with the elegance of an oval design and the fact it can be hung landscape, or portrait, adds to the myriad of different places it could be hung.

It is excellent quality and very attractive.  Especially the carved/engraved decoration to the frame, which is delibarately subtle and the detail well executed without it being overly fussy, resulting in a look which could be utilised in a wide variety of different settings and schemes.

Overall the condition is good, with just the expected old marks, scuffs and repairs for a mirror of this age, but certainly nothing visually displeasing or unpleasant in that respect. Also the attractive bevelled mirror plate is almost certainly original but remains in very good condition.
