This good looking piece originated as a 19th Century Beer Barrel, it is made with oak staves and bound with metal hoops, the wide top opening allows the barrel to be used as a container for logs by the fireside or possibly to plant your Christmas tree into, if you turn the barrel with the closed end up it would make a great table for your beer or wine
The barrel is in good sound condition and charming to look at, it is 26” high and 22” in diameter
