Antique Italian hand-carved marble fountain with classic shaped basin, removed from the garden of an important Milanese villa. The ancient Italian marble fountain was built in the early 1900s. It is in a good state of conservation, the wear is compatible with age and use and nothing stands out that requires restoration. The fountain is made up of three overlapping basins, the lower basin which acts as a base, the medium basin and the smaller upper basin supported by three finely represented putti. At the top of the fountain, a putto riding a fish acts as the central element and water flows from the fish’s mouth, creating a scenographic and musical effect. The fountain is divided into several parts.
