Outlet Pamono Roger Denton, Stone Stilettos, Hand Carved Limestone Sculpture, 21st Century

A raw limestone sculpture depicting a pair of stiletto heels. This unique piece has been carved and chiselled by hand from a single block of stone by the British artist Roger Denton, here Denton reinterprets an everyday object, drawing the viewer in and toying with our sense of time and permanence. This piece looks great on a plinth or table but could also work well on the floor of a hallway or dressing room.

Denton studied art in the UK and has recently returned after a long stint in the USA where he exhibited and was commissioned widely. One of his larger works is on display as a piece of public art in the Franklin district of Nashville.
