Baluster-shaped vase with a small, bulbous, shouldered body on a flush base, long, conically widening neck with a flared, beaded rim, colorless glass with flaky yellow, greenish, rust-red powder inclusions in the lower section, white and green enamel melts, highly etched rowanberry decoration on the outside, delicately painted with colored enamel, ice glass-like satin and polished finish in the background, cameo signature ‘DAUM NANCY’ with Lorraine cross on the wall at the neck constriction. Design after Henri Bergé. Technique: Handmade cameo glass Glass overlaid with several layers, with high-cut worked out motifs. Since the middle of the 19th century, the design has also been done by etching.
