Vereco was one of the brands of Les verreries du Gier, a now defunct company that was located in Rive de Gier. Vereco specialized in colored tempered glass tableware and glasses, resistant to shocks and heat and was quite successful in the 60s and 70s. In the mid-60s it was integrated into the BSN company, also defunct, and to which the Duralex brand also belonged.
