A box that recalls a work by René Magritte, an apple and a bowler hat come together in this silver plated box from the 1970s produced by Fleuron Christofle. A butter dish or a caviar dish, that’s up to you; composed of the most classic two elements: a circular saucer (13cm in diameter) and a dome 9cm high, but which can be uncovered by holding the thin stem of an apple. This object is functional but also elegant and playful, attributed to the designer Lino Sabattini, half of this apple will liven up and play down your ‘mise en place’.
