Denbac est la marque sous laquelle le céramiste René Denert.
Denbac is the mark of the ceramist René Desert produced his work. Created in Vierzon France in 1908. The workshop produced a vast selection of sandstone ‘grès’ items from vases and carafes to knife rests and ink pots. The company stopped trading during WWII and briefly traded post war until it ceased in 1952.
In good condition, it appears a tiny nibble on the ear of the cat on the lid but it is so small it hardly notices under the naked eye, only on the zoom detail in the last photo.
Height: 10cm
