Discount Pamono Napoleon III Marquetry Boulle Game Table, 19th Century

Wallet table with blackened Wood structure, almost entirely covered with a “Boulle” Marquetry of great Quality and finesse. It is made of chiseled brass, forming arabesques, scrolls and volutes.
Similar to a Console when it is closed, this piece of furniture is composed of a shutter tray, pivoting, discovering a space of Games tended of a current Red felt. The latter is bordered by a golden frieze on a black background and the eventful perimeter of the top is also decorated with a pretty “Boulle” Marquetry.
The four sides of this table are richly ornamented and decorated with cut brass rods similar to those delimiting the top.
The set rests on four generously curved legs, embellished with bronzes: Bust of children in the upper part, clogs in the lower part, and fillets of edges joining them.
One will also note the presence in belt of Mascarons, in the center of the “front” and the “back” of this Table, which will gather your close relations for a convivial game on a Fastueux ground.
