Italian alabaster statue of a naked woman, from around 1900. Beautiful statue that is hand carved from alabaster. Representing the goddess Venus/Aphrodite who stands naked among the plants with flowers in her hair. The arm was probably broken off at some point, but it could also have been made that way based on inspiration from antiquity. Part of the foot was once broken off and reattached. The whole is glued to a round alabaster pedestal. Unfortunately, no signature was found.
