Pair of Bronze Grand Tour Horse Sculptures, early 19th-century Italian figures of rearing horses, cast in dark-patina bronze, resting on turned, stepped, and shaped wooden bases in gilded wood. In excellent condition, these animalier sculptures come from a private collection.
The measurements of the two figures are slightly different; the larger ones are in cm: 19.5 high x 14 wide x 6.5 deep. The bronze figures alone, excluding the base, are 15 cm tall.
