Until his immigration to the USA due to his Jewish heritage, he was active at the Bauhaus in Weimar. There he created icons such as the B3 (Wassily) club chair and the Cesca Chair. In the USA, he founded the architecture department at Harvard University together with Walter Gropius. Breuer died in New York in 1981.
The paint has scratches and slight chips. Otherwise, due to age, it shows signs of wear but is suitable for living. Labeled.
